Established Market Stallholders

If you are already trading at other regional markets it is important for you to apply to become accredited in order for you to qualify to trade at the Clunes Farmers' Market.

The accreditation body is the Victorian Farmers' Market Association (VFMA), endorsed by the Victorian Government to ensure that accreditation is only awarded to farmers and producers who can demonstrate that what will be sold at an accredited Farmers' Market has been raised, grown or made by the stallholder.

In the case of value-added products, such as jam, preserves and baked goods, the producer must be able to demonstrate that the majority of the ingredients are either grown by them or are sourced locally within Victoria. Value-added products where the majority of ingredients are sourced interstate or overseas will not qualify for accreditation.

Please note: Accredited Farmers' Markets do not have craft, bric a brac, or re-packaged food goods for sale. The emphasis is on fresh, locally-grown fresh food produce and home-made quality preserves and baked goods.
